The West Region Challenge is open for all college club teams in the country. Come compete in one of the toughest regions in the nation playing against former national champions and runners-up.
Each team will play 5 matches minimum with certified up refs for every match.
The location for the West Region Challenge is the American Sports Center, the official training facility for Team USA Volleyball located in Anaheim, CA. Every team will play under 1 roof with men's and women's teams playing side by side.
Teams will have the option to stay at 3 different hotels with special tournament rates and discounts. All the hotels will be within a 1.5 mile radius or less from the American Sports Center.
Anaheim is conveniently located within 5 airports 20-50 minutes away making your travel to Southern California easier and affordable based on your team's budget.
The city of Anaheim will also be providing discounts to local restaurants and attractions for all participants in the West Region Challenge.
The West Region Challenge will be a total experience for your team as you will compete against some of the best competition in the nation while being entertained in a great city.

West Region Challenge is officially an NCVF Recognized Ranking Event for the Women!
LOCATION: American Sport Center, Anaheim CA 1500 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805
DATE: March 16-17, 2018
COST: $405 prior to February 23, 2018. $455 after February 23, 2018. Entry Fee can be turned in no later than March 9, 2018. Any entry fees received after February 28, 2018 are subject to a $50.00 late fee. (Make checks payable to SCCVL) All-team entry: February 23, 2018.
Entry fees can be mailed in to the SCCVL. Address is posted on the invoice.
NCVF RANKING TOURNAMENT: We are an NCVF recognized ranking event.
RULES: The NCVF Governance Rules will be in full effect. Please visit the NCVF website for further clarification on Governance Rules for the 2107/2018 season.
OFFICIALS: Certified referees will be used for all matches. Two refereess will be provided for all gold playoff matches.
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: A Tournament Director will be appointed by the hosting team for the tournament.
TEAM SELECTION: First teams (“A” teams) teams will be selected on a “First Come, First Serve” basis. Schools are allowed to enter both their “A” and “B”. However, “A” teams will have priority over “B” teams up to February 7th. Any additional teams from a school will be accepted if spots are available 21 days prior to the tournament.
Every participating team must submit a complete roster to the Host and NCVF Ranking Tournament Coordinator by Friday, February 17th, 2018. All rosters will be "frozen" 10 days prior to the event on Thursday, March 6, 2018. All rosters will be subject to an eligibility check by the NCVF.
NCVF TEAM REFUNDS: Teams may withdraw from the event if a request is made in writing at least 21 days before the tournament. Refund requests received after this time period will not be granted except by the NCVF Women’s Committee (acts of God, dangerous weather conditions, etc.). The hosting school must notify the NCVF Women's Committee of any school that withdraws less than 21 days before the tournament. Such teams may be subject to sanctions. The hosting school is required to provide a full refund within 30 days of written withdrawal.
HOTELS: The West Region Challenge has partnered up with 3 hotels within a 1.5 mile radius of the American Sports Center. All the hotels have discounted rates and provided complimentary services as well. A list of these hotels can be found at www.sccvl.org/wrchotels
